I believe this was the first album of the year to make it on my list. Being so fresh into the new year (released in early February) I was still searching for something to get my attention. I’ve never actually followed or listened to Spoon before this album. I knew of the name, saw the new album and gave it a go. I was quickly sold on it with my first listen to the song The Hardest Cut. What a great song and the album doesn’t end there, plenty of great songs.
