Little Oblivions
I first discovered Julien Baker while sifting through everything Phoebe Bridgers last year. Julien had played in the group Boygenius alongside Phoebe and Lucy Dacus. I kept Julien on my radar and waited for a new album to be released.
I was hooked right away with Little Oblivions. I’m always so drawn in to these types of emotionally fragile and dark storytelling type of songwriting. The songs become so relatable even though I have hardly even come close to feeling the pain or dealt with the issues that Julien has.
I have to say I’m a bit upset with myself for missing her live show when it came around in September. I would have loved to see her perform these songs live. I wont miss the next show.
