Producer – Van Halen, John Shanks

I was always more of a Sammy era fan of Van Halen but after listening to the new album I am more satisfied with a David Lee Roth reunion.

All of the elements of a great Van Halen album are contained within. Eddie’s signature guitar sound and virtuosic solos. Alex’s classic drum sound including what I like to call the “10 Foot Snare” sound. Roth’s clever and enticing vocals backed up with great harmonies.

On “Blood and Fire” Dave says “Told you I was coming back. Say you missed me, say is like you mean it.” Well I mean it Dave, I missed you.
