If you like previous KISS albums like Love Gun, Lick It Up and Revenge then you will love Monster. A true follow up to 2009’s Sonic Boom in the vain of recreating the classic vibe of KISS’ best records into a collection of new songs.
I have to say I am completely shocked and pleased that Monster is really above all a standout Gene Simmons record. I have always been more of a Paul Stanley fan in the past but Gene’s writing on Monster is some of his best ever.
Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer also take their turn singing lead vocals on 2 very respectable tracks.
